The non-profit association NURA informs that, inside of the project entitled: “Nuragus: volunteers for archeology” this year we will began cleaning and clearing the archaeological sites. All volunteers, can present themselves at the sacred well of Coni, from 8 am to 10:30 am and from 5:30 to 6:00 pm, equipped with weed cutters, gloves and gardening shears.
The project entitled “Nuragus: volunteers for archaeology” was born in 2013. It has at its base the work of volunteers of the cultural association NURA onlus and the cooperative NURE- integrated along the promotion of these sites thanks to an improvement of the accessibility and raise awareness the community of the importance of the protection and appreciation of the archeological heritage of Nuragus and the discovery of the area’s history, especially the sacred well of Coni and the nuraghe Santu Millanu.
The project was created to favor more in-depth scientific knowledge of chosen archaeological sites.
